Brief Biography

Kim Hogan is a Paediatric Nurse Practitioner in the Division of Paediatric Medicine – Complex Care Program at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). She completed her undergraduate training (BNSc) at the University of Toronto, as well as her graduate work (MSN/Nurse Practitioner) at the University of Toronto. She is also adjunct faculty at the Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto.

Clinical Care Activities

Kim works on the Complex Care team and provides outpatient care to children with medical complexities. The focus of her work is to support children and their families by helping to coordinate their care, provide anticipatory guidance, facilitate communication between multiple sub-specialists, and to provide comprehensive, holistic care. She also plays a lead role in caring for children with medical complexities at a satellite Complex Care clinic in a community hospital in North York.

Research Interests

Hogan is adjunct faculty at the Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto. She is actively engaged in precepting graduate students in her clinical practice.
