Brief Biography

Dr. Jennifer Young is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Paediatrics and a Staff Neonatologist at Mount Sinai Hospital. Her areas of interest include medical education and neonatal transitional and community follow-up care.

Academic Background

Dr. Jennifer Young obtained her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Guelph.  She then completed her medical training at the University of the West Indies – Mona Campus Jamaica then underwent paediatric training there. She completed her Neonatal Perinatal fellowship training at the University of Toronto. She is currently pursuing a Diploma in Clinical Epidemiology at McMaster University.
