Improving the lives of children is at the heart of everything we do at SickKids. That was the promise made by Elizabeth McMaster when she opened this Hospital in 1875. It is a promise we reconfirm every day.
Avenues to Excellence: 2010-2015, our strategic plan, is an inspiring roadmap that will allow SickKids to continue delivering on its mission and achieve its vision of Healthier Children. A Better World. It addresses all areas of our work – care, research and learning.
Avenues to Excellence was shaped by people like you – our children and families, our staff, our community partners, our academic and research partners and our funders. At its core are six interrelated Strategic Directions, which will drive our decision-making in the years ahead.
