The Atrium at SickKids was designed to provide maximum natural light. "Main Street" of SickKids offers many culinary and shopping opportunities including our Garden Terrace Cafe which offers pizza from Pizza Pizza, Mrs. Vanelli's Pasta and Mr. Sub. SickKids also has a Shoppers Drug Mart, Starbucks, two CIBC Instant Tellers, Body Shop, and Tim Horton's on-site. We also have a Specialty Food Shop, which provides food that will meet special dietary requirements.
Health-care staff work in a modern facility where each patient care unit has a central desk for staff. Generally each unit has coffee/lunch rooms for staff. The facility is comfortably air conditioned and there are many windows and plenty of natural light.
SickKids staff also enjoy a casual Friday dress code all year long and a more relaxed dress code during the summer months.
