Currently Dermatology Section is involved in over 20 research studies from retrospective studies to randomized controlled, prospective studies.

Colonization with Community Acquired Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus in Children with Atopic Dermatitis: A Cross Sectional Study. This project has received funding from The Canadian Dermatology Foundation and we are hoping to enroll about 200 subjects for this prevalence study.

Development of Ultrasound and Clinical Disease Activity Measures for Pediatric Localized Scleroderma. This is a collaborative multi-centre study with Hackensack University Medical Centre in New Jersey. All sites involved are aiming to enroll 90 subjects in total for this observational study.

International Registry for Paediatric Cutaneous T-cell Lymphoma: a Longitudinal, Prospective, Observational Study of Cutaneous T-cell Lymphoma in the Paediatric Population. This is a ongoing multi-centre study with 49 subjects being followed across ten international sites.
