Infant Mental Health Promotion (IMP) and The Infant Psychiatry Program of The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) are pleased to present an ongoing series of monthly
Infant Mental Health Rounds
It is the goal of these rounds to increase the flow of information between the community and The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) and also among agencies in the community, with the aim of informing each other of current programs and practice and encouraging inter-agency collaboration. Different centres or agencies will take turns presenting the work they are currently doing in the community with infants and their families. Clinical or evidence based programs as well as community, educational or research projects with a focus on pregnancy and/or infancy and mental health are also welcome.
The Infant Mental Health Rounds are presented free off charge and are open to any and all interested professionals and students. Presentations will be approximately 1.5 hours in length with the opportunity for networking and discussion. Seating is based on a first-come, first-seated basis and is limited to 240 persons.
It is our hope over time to be able to offer these Infant Mental Health Rounds via the internet as an educational opportunity for those who would be unable to attend in person due to distance and time constraints. More details on subsequent rounds and web based initiatives will follow as we create a schedule of presentations. Please refer to this site for updates or contact IMP for further details.
Subsequent Infant Mental Health Rounds will be scheduled to take place each month at SickKids. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend! the First Tuesday of each month in 2007 (Please check back here to confirm presentation dates & details)
