Infant Mental Health Promotion (IMP) is a unique Canadian coalition dedicated to promoting optimal mental health outcomes for infants (prenatal to 36 months) by developing and supporting best practices for enhancing infant mental health through education, dissemination of information, networking, and advocacy. The purpose of IMPrint is to disseminate information to professionals from a variety of disciplines and to paraprofessionals on issues related to the well-being of infants and their families. IMPrint is unique in its scope in Canada. It has allowed local professionals and resources to share information on their work and research with others, and offers practical information to those establishing or expanding programs. IMPrint is published three times per year.

In addition to your subscription to IMPrint, annual membership with IMP gives you priority and substantially reduced fees for our educational programs and the resources we produce. Members benefit from a discount of up to 25% on each training registration, as well as advance notice of upcoming events and available resources.

Annual Membership fees

$40 for individuals - 1 subscription and reduced fees for the individual (non–transferrable)
$20 for full-time students with proof of enrollment - 1 subscription and reduced fees for the student (non-transferrable)
$80 for small agencies - up to 3 subscriptions and reduced fees for workshops for up to 3 persons from the agency
$160 for large agencies - up to 6 subscriptions and reduced fees for workshops for up to 6 persons from the agency

Content

IMPrint combines brief articles on current approaches to providing care to infants and their parents, new research findings and information on resources and educational events. We warmly welcome article submissions and suggestions.

Articles include:

• descriptions of programs and/or resources
• descriptions of program evaluations and current research
• reviews of literature and book reviews
• summaries of workshop presentations
• information on resources available and educational opportunities
• issues related to health care, child care, social services and legislation
