PICH2GO Indigenous took place on October 11 and 12, 2017 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, in partnership with IWK Health Centre and the Aboriginal Children’s Hurt & Healing (ACHH) Initiative. It was a 1.5 day conference that offered clinicians, researchers, mentors, and trainees a unique experience to learn from First Nation community members including clinical researchers, elders, parents, youth, nurses, and a health director. A wide scope of experiences and approaches were used to share indigenous knowledge regarding clinical care and research practices. An art exhibition showcased indigenous art and served as the backdrop for an inspiring and memorable networking event for participants.
