Mission Statement
We aim to discover basic mechanisms that control gene expression, gene silencing, and epigenetic reprogramming. This knowledge can then be applied to generate the safest and most effective vectors for gene therapy and regenerative medicine through manipulation of induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells. Our lab members will train in a collaborative environment and be mentored for future positions in the best laboratories in their chosen field.
