Goals, Timelines and Funding

Our goal is to identify potential targets that will help prevent some of these TRANCE side effects caused by chemotherapy and thus, possibly improve the child’s future quality of life.

The N-PhenoGENICS study will run over the course of five years. Recruitment of potential participants will begin in July 2013 and the study is anticipated to end summer 2018. The research group will be seeing about 100 participants per year.

This research study is made possible through the financial support of the Canadian Institutes for Health Research (CIHR), Canadian Cancer Society Research Institute (CCSRI), C17 Council, Garron Family Cancer Centre at SickKids, and Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario.
