Research activities

Our research team includes our Clinical Research Assistants (CRAs) and our research fellows. In order to facilitate the dynamic day-to-day interactions between clinical and research teams, the thrombosis team has implemented the Thrombosis Research and Clinical Support (TRaCS) Volunteer Program. During your visit to clinic, a SickKids TRaCS volunteer will introduce themself and show you to your clinic room. If your child is eligible to participate in any of the ongoing studies, the TRaCS volunteer will ask you whether you are interested in meeting a member of the research team. In this case, the team member will explain the study and why your child could be a participant.
