Notification of upcoming road and lane closures

Dear Neighbour:

The City of Toronto has informed us of some upcoming road closures taking place in the neighbourhood that may cause minor disruptions to your daily routine.

Please note that beginning Sunday, September 12, 2010 some traffic limitations will be in place. The chart below provides the plan with dates and locations:

Bay Street

Sunday, Sept. 12

7 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 16

7 a.m.

Work will take place each day from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Bay Street southbound lanes between Elm and Gerrard Streets will be closed. The centre lane northbound will become a southbound lane. During work hours this section of Bay will become a single lane throughfare, each way. Police officers will be on site during work hours to help with traffic flow.

Elm Street

Thursday, Sept. 16

7 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 19

7 a.m.

Work will take place each day from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

A potential road closure between Bay and Elizabeth Streets may be in effect during those hours, however please note that access to the Allan Brown building and parking lot will be maintained.

Walton Street

Saturday, Sept. 18

7 a.m.

Saturday, Sept. 18

7 p.m.

Full road closure for the duration of work that day.

 

It is important to note that all plans are subject to change due to unforeseen conditions during excavation and installation. For your safety, please follow the appropriate signage or consult the on-site police officers for information.
