Adolescent Medicine
The Division of Adolescent Medicine is dedicated to serving the health-care needs of adolescents and to providing research and training that improves adolescent health.
The division is the founding academic program in adolescent medicine in Canada. The division is committed to high quality, developmentally-appropriate clinical care in four areas: eating disorders; substance abuse; high-risk adolescent parents; and chronic illness and disease.
Research and teaching are highly integrated into our clinical activities and practice.
Education and learning
The Division of Adolescent Medicine provides clinical teaching for medical students, residents, fellows, and other interdisciplinary trainees.
Research activities
Research activities are an integral part of the activities of the members of the Division of Adolescent Medicine.
