Starlight room
There is a special room on the ninth floor which is just for Haematology/Oncology patients! The next time you are waiting for your clinic appointment or are in the hospital as an in-patient, ask your clinic nurse if you can go up to get away from the medical side of the hospital. The bright room, which is filled with fun activities, is funded by the Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation. Children can come meet/interact with other children, play video games, surf the Web, do crafts, watch movies, and play with toys.
The Starlight Room is open to Clinic Mon-Fri from 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. and Tues & Thurs from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
