The Centre for Orthotics & Medical Devices is located in The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) and has served thousands of patients with a variety of orthotic needs. An assortment of pre-made and custom-made orthoses can be fitted by our highly qualified staff. Patients must have a prescription or a referral with a diagnosis from a physician before making an appointment with The Centre for Orthotics.
Patients served
There are a variety of conditions that require orthoses. The Centre for Orthotics serves patients of all ages with foot, ankle, knee, hip, spine, hand and cranial conditions including clubfoot, plagiocephaly, scoliosis and many more. The Centre for Orthotics specializes in pediatric helmets, spinal braces, custom foot orthoses and knee bracing in order to serve the unique needs of patients here at SickKids.
