Who we are
Professionals on staff
The Centre for Orthotics is staffed by a team of professionals including Certified Orthotists and Orthotic Technicians. Our Certified Orthotists are members of the Canadian Board of Certified Prosthetists and Orthotists (CBCPO). This assures that the quality of professional training is maintained through continued education. Our Certified Orthotists are also authorized vendors of the Ontario Assistive Devices Program (ADP). Custom-made orthoses are produced on-site by the orthotics team.
The orthotists on staff have specialized experience treating complex pediatric cases that require unique solutions. Treatment for the whole family is possible with our wide range of expertise. Fabrication and adjustments of orthoses are done on-site with up-to-date equipment and materials. Our orthotists also provide post-operative casting for orthoses in the operating room.
