This is a One-day Liver Symposium symposium in Toronto on pediatric hepatocellular carcinoma and advanced hepatoblastoma, for pediatric oncologists, surgeons and allied health care professionals involved in the care of children with advanced liver tumours.
The goal of this workshop is to develop Canadian Guidelines on the Management of Advanced Liver Tumours in Children. This is a multidisciplinary effort between pediatric oncology, surgery, gastroenterology and the transplant team. One of the major focuses will be on the indications for liver transplant in high risk situations.
Objectives: We are hoping to have focused talks and discussion in order to address our ultimate goal which is to establish guidelines for the treatment of children with advanced HCC and HB. SPEAKERS:
