The Eating Disorders Association of Canada (EDAC) / Association des troubles de l’alimentaires du Canada (ATAC) is an organization of Canadian health care providers in the field of eating disorders and related issues. The primary mandate of EDAC/ATAC has been to develop linkages across the country and to formalize ways of working with each other for the purpose of serving the needs of those whose lives are impacted by eating disorders. This is a CME accredited Conference.

Conference objectives:

1. To support the development of active research and clinical collaborations between relevant stakeholders and to provide support for on-going initiatives now underway with the eventual aim of improved access to high quality care, and optimized treatment goals
2. To introduce new knowledge and update clinicians on emerging theories and research both from the areas of eating disorder research as well as related fields.
3. To provide an opportunity for discussion and development of national clinical guidelines pertaining to the treatment of eating disorders within a Canadian context.
