Evidence and Policy

The Centre’s team is engaged in a combination of strategic systematic reviews on topics of relevance to those responsible for setting policies in global child health, including UNICEF and WHO, as well as evidence-based recommendations to inform policy.

With the culmination of the United Nations’ Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and the onset of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Centre for Global Child Health has been involved with important initiatives and platforms that support the tracking of continued progress and provide a framework to further advance maternal, newborn and child health.

Examples include:

Lancet Stillbirth Series 2016

The Every Newborn Action Plan

Countdown to 2015 Report for 2014
