Child and Youth Mental Health Research Unit

CYMHRU is comprised of researchers within SickKids and affiliated organizations. We are situated within the Department of Psychiatry, and our core researchers are affiliated with the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto.  We have a wide variety of partners, spanning the health, mental health, global health and education sectors.

We share our research and policy analysis skills, as well as our knowledge of programs and interventions, with community leaders, service agencies, and governments who, in turn, share their knowledge and expertise with us. We develop partnerships between different community sectors so that priorities, policies, and interventions are jointly planned, researched, disseminated, and implemented.
