SickKids has been inspiring our communities for four decades to invest in child health research, learning and care to improve the health and well-being of children. Our reach extends beyond the four walls of The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario, to all corners of the world.
Your support of SickKids International will:
- Train fellows from around the world at SickKids. Together we will help fill the shortage of child health specialists globally.
- Enable our Global Child Health Program to work with partners in countries including Ghana, Ethiopia and Tanzania to create innovative, effective and sustainable projects that will meet the needs of children in those countries.
To date, the program has reached children in more than 75 countries.

Herbie Fund
You can also support the Herbie Fund, which provides financial support to children and families from around the world so they can travel to SickKids for life-changing treatment that would otherwise not be available to them.
More than 650 children from 101 countries including Mongolia, Ecuador, Russia, Kenya, Botswana and Trinidad have received specialized treatment in the last three decades. Because of a lack of funding, there are always more applications than the fund can support.
