Student and Volunteer Opportunities
Student Placement Program
SickKids International offers opportunities for students currently enrolled in international programs requiring them to complete an “internship” or “placement” as part of their curriculum. We welcome undergraduate and graduate students who want to develop their knowledge and skills in the advancement of global child health.
The purpose of the program is to provide learning opportunities focusing in areas related to education, administration, research and program planning and development. The program ensures that learning experiences support both the students’ objectives and their academic program. It is designed to facilitate expectations and involvement of both preceptor and student during the course of the placement.
