Medical appointments, advice, and referrals

Please note that we do not provide medical advice via e-mail. We strongly recommend that you discuss concerns about a child’s medical problem with a qualified health care provider or physician. If your child is sick, you may call Telehealth Ontario at 1-866-797-0000. If you live outside of Canada, please contact our International Patient department (see below).

To make a medical appointment at SickKids, you must obtain a referral for medical or surgical consultation from you physician. To review our referral guidelines, visit Referring Patients to SickKids.

To change or cancel a medical appointment, please call your child’s clinic or unit directly or call our main line 416-813-1500 and ask to be connected to your clinic/unit.
