Brief Biography

After graduating from the University of Toronto (O.I.S.E.), with a Masters degree in Health Promotion and New Technology, Gail moved into the realm of health care when she joined the department of Psychology at The Hospital for Sick Children in 2003. She became a Clinical Research Coordinator for several quality of life and academic research studies looking at outcomes of children undergoing Bone Marrow Transplants. She also holds roles as a laugh therapist/relaxation therapist for families of these children.

Since 2005, Gail has also been involved in a study looking at bereavement issues in families who have lost a child to cancer.
