Brief Biography

Dr. Sarah Alexander is a clinician-teacher in the Division of Haematology/ Oncology at The Hospital for Sick Children. Sarah attended medical school at Harvard University. She did her paediatric training at the Children's Hospital, Boston, and her fellowship in Haematology and Oncology at Children's Hospital, Boston and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. 

After the completion of training she remained on staff at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute before moving to the Division of Paediatric Haematology and Oncology at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, where she was the director of the inpatient Haematology/Oncology ward and the fellowship training program. 

Sarah’s areas of interest include Leukemia, non Hodgkins Lymphoma, infectious complications of cancer therapy and medical education.
