Brief Biography
Dr. Paolo Campisi joined the Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at the Hospital for Sick Children and University of Toronto in July 2004 as a full-time paediatric otolaryngologist. He has a particular interest in disorders of the head and neck, airway and voice. He is director of the Centre for Paediatric Voice and Laryngeal Function, a subspecialty clinic designed for the care of children with voice disorders.
Dr. Campisi earned his medical degree from the University of Western Ontario and pursued residency training in otolaryngology at McGill University. He then returned to Toronto to complete a fellowship in paediatric otolaryngology at The Hospital for Sick Children. Dr. Campisi holds a Master’s level degree in both pharmacology and otolaryngology.
Dr. Campisi is a member of the Canadian Society of Otolaryngology, the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the Society for Ear, Nose and Throat Advances in Children and the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Otolaryngology and Bronchoesophagology
