Brief Biography
Geraldine Cullen-Dean, RN, BScN, MN, is a Clinical Nurse Specialist with the Division of Adolescent Medicine. Geraldine began her nursing career at SickKids in 1983 after graduating from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Geraldine completed a Master of Nursing in 2003. Her clinical focus while in graduate studies was in transition preparation from paediatric to adult health care.
Geraldine has worked primarily with children and adolescents with congenital heart conditions. Her most recent position was a Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator for the Congenital Heart Surgeons’ Society Data Center which follows patients throughout North America with cardiac disorders. Her primary area of research is outcomes focused with a special interest in quality of life.
