Brief Biography

Patricia Malloy is a Clinical Nurse Specialist/Nurse Practitioner for the Tuberculosis Clinic. Pat started at Sick Kids in January 1998. Her past experience includes work in a level III nursery in Lebanon, New Hampshire, nursing in a hospital/clinic and in the air in the high arctic, adult oncology and paediatrics. Pat graduated from Northeastern University in September 1997 with a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Community Health and clinical focus as an adult nurse practitioner.

Since arriving at Sick Kids, Pat has spent much energy into building bridges with community, especially the vulnerable inner city population. In the summer of 2001, Patricia spent her time as a research intern at the University of Ottawa with Dr. Nancy Edwards.
