Brief Biography
Dr. Naqvi is currently head of the in-patient services section and an Assistant Professor of Paediatrics in the University of Toronto. Dr. Naqvi received his MD degree from the University of Karachi Dow Medical College in 1977. Following postgraduate training in paediatrics in Pakistan, Dr. Naqvi completed a paediatric haematology/oncology fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto (1995-1998). Dr. Naqvi then returned to Pakistan to work in the department of paediatrics at the Aga Khan University where he was Director of the paediatric residency and internship program prior to his recruitment to the Division of haematology/oncology in November, 2001.
