Cheryl V. Reicin


Brief Biography

Ms. Cheryl Reicin is the Head of the Technology and Life Science Practice, a US/ Canadian cross border practice  at the law firm of  Tory’s LLP where she focuses on biotechnology, medical device, health information and other technology-based companies,  as well as private equity/venture capital funds and investment banks that fund such companies. She also represents academic medical centers and universities and assists companies in formulating domestic and international growth strategies and in sourcing capital.  She is a graduate of the Harvard Law School and practiced in the US for 20 years before joining Tory's.  She holds a number of appointments with non-profits including, among others: Director of the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation, Advisory Board Member of Health Technology Exchange (HTX), and Advisory Board Member of Hadasit, the technology transfer arm of Hadassah Medical Center of Jerusalem, and is a founder of the Center of Innovation.

Cheryl has received a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A., summa cum laude, from Barnard College, Columbia University. Cheryl is also a Certified Licensing Professional of the Licensing Executive Society (LES), United States and Canada and was called to the Bar in New York and Massachusetts.

Ms. Reicin joined the Board of Trustees in 2012.
