Stephanie So, BSc PT

Brief Biography

Stephanie So graduated with a degree in physiotherapy from the University of Toronto in 1989 and has been working at SickKids in a variety of programs since that time. She currently works as a physiotherapist in the Liver and Small Bowel Transplant and GIFT Programs. She has been a key lead in the development of the Beanstalk Program, a developmentally focused care program for infants/young children experiencing prolonged hospitalization. She has a Clinical Lecturer Status Appointment at the University of Toronto. Stephanie has a special interest in education and chairs the PT Course Organizing Committee within the Rehabilitation Department. She is also involved in the High School Outreach Initiative Committee, giving health care providers the opportunity to educate Toronto high school students about organ transplantation. Professionally, Stephanie is on the executive of the OT/PT Paediatric Network.
