It’s almost conference season again. Are you thinking of submitting a scientific abstract for the American Society of Human Genetics’ 2016 Annual Conference in October?  If your abstract is selected for an oral presentation – does a travel award to support your attendance sound appealing?

The Centre for Genetic Medicine will be offering travel awards to the top SickKids abstracts selected by ASHG for presentation.  If you are selected by the ASHG for an oral presentation, send your acceptance notice and abstract to Tamar at tamar.altschuler@sickkids.ca by September 15, 2016 for eligibility.

All SickKids affiliated researchers, clinicians, and professional staff and trainees may apply.  Any researcher who does not have an appointment with the Research Institute can contact Tamar to inquire about eligibility.

The ASHG abstract deadline is June 2, 2016.  Submit your abstract through the ASHG web-site at ASHG Abstract and Meeting Information Link

This year, the American Society of Human Genetics’ Annual Meeting and Conference will be held in Canada from October 18th through to the 22nd in Vancouver British Columbia.
