Pediatric Dental Residency
This is an accredited, one-year clinical teaching program with four positions available to final year undergraduate dental students from across Canada and the United States. The program has a strong clinical component where the resident receives comprehensive training in the multidisciplinary management of all aspects of dental care for children in the ambulatory, operating room and the Emergency Room settings.
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency
The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency rotation through SickKids provides the pediatric components strategic to the OMFS resident education. It is not typical that an OMFS specialty program has an opportunity for their residents to work in a secondary, tertiary and quaternary level pediatric acute care hospital.
This rotation focuses on development of resident behavior management skills to compliment the use of sedation or general anesthesia. Learn more.
