What we do
The Division of Endocrinology at The Hospital for Sick Children offers a complete range of services for the evaluation and treatment of children with the following conditions:
- Type 1 diabetes mellitus
- Type 2 diabetes mellitus
- Growth disorders
- Pubertal disorders
- Thyroid dysfunction
- Adrenal dysfunction
- Sexual differentiation disorders
- Disorders of calcium regulation
- Hypoglycemia
Our team consists of six full-time paediatric endocrinologists and a full multidisciplinary team of diabetes nurse educators, endocrinology nurses, dieticians, and a social worker.
The division is very active in many research endeavors in both diabetes and endocrinology and the Division has a Subspecialty Fellowship Training Program that is fully accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
