Education and learning
The Haematology/Oncology Sub-Specialty Training Program is approved by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. The program is the largest in Canada and among the largest worldwide. Currently, sub-specialty residents (fellows) complete a three-year training program with rotations through all key areas of the specialty of haematology/oncology/blood and marrow transplantation, which includes both in- and outpatient experiences. This program is international in scope and has trained over 50 residents and fellows worldwide over the past five years.
