SickKids T4 Health - Triage, Transport, Treatment & Transition Neonatology Conference

SickKids second annual Inter-Professional Neonatology T4 Health Conference will focus on the neonatal patient in the context of experiencing Sepsis and Necrotizing Enterocolitis at various points in the continuum of care (Triage, Transport, Treatment and Transition).  The conference features two keynote speakers and a selection of breakout sessions led by experts in the field of neonatology who will provide information, practical tips and strategies for managing these high risk newborns.  The content for this year’s conference is based on self-assessed community learning needs, feedback from last year’s conference attendees and current practices in tertiary care.  This conference will promote a collaborative practice model of health care that acknowledges the expertise of inter-professional team members who guide evidence-based practices to support optimal clinical outcomes.

Conquering the Hurt: Pain Connections Body Mind and Spirit

Pain is a complex experience and much attention is placed on the physical symptom of pain and its management. The theme of body, mind, and spirit recognizes the challenges of assessment and management from this biopsychosocial perspective. This one day conference is for all health care professionals and trainees.  The day will provide something for everyone, world renowned speakers and opportunities to participate in topics that are of specific interest to your practice.
