Patient becomes researcher

Neurosurgery patient goes from Patient to Researcher at SickKids

Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children has a new summer researcher who used to be a patient. When Ben Diplock was eight years old, he was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Between surgery and various follow-ups, Diplock spent a decade in and out of the hospital. He will soon graduate from McMaster University with a science degree.
