U of T Medical Students

Student students should contact the Division Education Coordinator to find out about the availability for observerships. Once confirmation of training has been approved, a letter confirming enrollment in medical school must be submitted to the Division Education Coordinator.

Non-University of Toronto medical students

Students in their clerkship year must submit an application through the University of Toronto Visiting Student Elective Program. However, we strongly suggest that you contact the Division Education Coordinator first to find out about training period availability.

Undergrad students

In accordance with hospital policy, non-medical students (i.e., undergraduate or high school students) are not permitted to be part of patient care encounters unless they are either part of the Circle of Care or are engaged in an education/training program which requires them to see patients (e.g. clinical clerkship, elective).

Applications for North American and International medical students
