The Auditory Science Lab carries out clinical and basic science research related to normal and abnormal hearing function. It is headed by Dr. Robert Harrison, senior scientist.

The Cochlear Implant Program at The Hospital for Sick Children is the largest centre for paediatric cochlear implantation in North America. Located in Toronto, the Cochlear Implant Program is internationally recognized as a leading clinical and research facility for cochlear implants in children.

CENTRE FOR PAEDIATRIC VOICE & LARYNGEAL FUNCTION (VOICE CLINIC)
Originally called the Paediatric Voice and Laryngeal Function Laboratory, this centre specializes in voice disorders in children.
It is headed by Paolo Campisi (Paediatric Otolaryngologist) Laurie Russell and Jennifer Allegro (Speech Language Pathologists). This centre offers a voice assessment which includes, amongst others, perceptual and acoustic evaluation of voice as well as endoscopy and/or videostroboscopy.
