Programme for Global Paediatric Research
Using research to improve health outcomes for children throughout the world
The Programme for Global Paediatric Researchâ„¢ (PGPR) was established in 2004 to address the disparity between the major scientific research resources available in high-income countries and the proportionately minimal quantity of scientific research focused on child health in developing countries. PGPR works with paediatric researchers, societies and other organizations to educate, facilitate international collaborative research, and act as an advocate for research into major diseases affecting children throughout the world.
