What Do We Do?
The mandate of the Psychology Department is to carry out comprehensive assessments of cognitive, behavioural, social and emotional functioning in children with medical and psychiatric diagnoses, and to provide therapeutic intervention for these children and their families. We also consult with other professionals in the hospital and the community to advocate for the needs of our patients. Finally, we are actively involved in research and training.
Where are We Located?
The Psychology Department at The Hospital for Sick Children is located on the 6th floor of the Black Family Wing, room 6401A (above Shopper’s Drug Mart).
Hours of Operation
The Psychology office is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays.
