Physical activity for children at risk of bleeding injuries

This project was created to learn about the types of physical activity that result in bleeding-related injuries to children at risk.

The project is designed to:

  • Learn more about the activities that lead to bleeding injuries
  • Understand why these injuries occur
  • Develop helpful information which can be used in patient counselling to encourage appropriate physical activities.

The Cardiovascular Clinical Research Unit is involved in many research projects that are designed to promote active, healthy lifestyles for children and youth. If you would like more information about this project or other research activities, please contact us.
