Research opportunities in the Danska lab

The Danska lab, affiliated with the University of Toronto, is located at the new MaRS complex at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. SickKids is world renowned for the caliber of its Research Institute. In addition, the Research Institute fosters training of graduate students and post-doctoral fellows through the activities of the Research Training Centre, which offers workshops and seminars intended to help guide trainees further in their careers.

Training opportunities for graduate students are available through the Department of Immunology and Department of Medical Biophysics, University of Toronto.

Potential students should apply directly to the graduate program in the departments. Interested students who have been admitted are encouraged to contact Dr. Danska to discuss research interests in the lab.

Post-doctoral candidates are encouraged to write to Dr. Danska directly with a description of their education and research experiences, their long term research interests and career goals, along with the names of three references. Applicants should have recently graduated with a PhD, MD or DVM, and should have a background in molecular and cellular biology research.
