Symposium day 2007
The SickKids Summer Research Program (SSuRE) Symposium took place on July 18, 2007 at SickKids. This annual event began with an opening address by Tony Pawson who gave a presentation on How to Get a PhD in 2 Weeks. There were 132 undergraduates who participated in poster and oral presentations. In addition, PIs, judges, faculty and trainees attended during the course of the day. The Symposium was not only a valuable training exercise, it was also a fascinating opportunity to showcase undergraduate research activity at SickKids.
