Toronto lung transplant program/clinic
The Toronto Lung Transplant Program is a combined adult and paediatric program with adult transplants being done at University Health Network – Toronto General site and paediatric transplants being done at The Hospital for Sick Children. The program was initiated in 1983 with paediatric lung transplantation beginning in 1995.
The Lung Transplant team at The Hospital for Sick Children is a group of highly skilled professionals who work together to help patients have a successful transplant and recovery.
The Lung Transplant Program is part of the Transplant Centre at The Hospital for Sick Children.
The Lung Transplant Clinic offers pre-evaluations and post-operative medical management for lung transplantation in children.
