As one of our commercial services, revenue from parking at SickKids contributes directly to enhancing care for our children and their families, and advancing our research endeavours.
SickKids has an underground lot below the Hospital (enter from Elm Street, between University Avenue and Elizabeth Street).
SickKids parking is now automated. Parkers take a ticket upon entry and pay at one of the pay stations located in each of the P1 to P4 elevator lobbies when exiting. Cash and credit are accepted at pay stations.
Please read the street parking signs carefully if you are parking near the Hospital. You are not allowed to park on any street before 9:30 a.m. or between 3:30 and 6:30 p.m.
Please do not park in the Emergency driveway or in the driveways off Gerrard Street, Elizabeth Street, or University Avenue. Cars will be ticketed and towed away.
Parents, visitors and general public
- Daily - Monday to Friday 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. $6 per half hour to a maximum of $20. (max. $20 for 24 hours)
- Evenings - Monday to Friday from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. $3 per half hour to a maximum of $7
- Saturday, Sunday and Holidays - 6 a.m. to 6 a.m. $3 per half hour to a maximum of $7.
Parent multi-use passes
Parents who have to attend SickKids on a frequent basis can purchase discounted multi-use passes directly from the pay stations in elevator lobbies of the Atrium parking garage.
- 5-use pass: $80
- 10-use pass: $160
Parent long-stay passes
Parents can also purchase discounted long-stay passes from the Parking Office on Parking Level 1
- One week: $62.50
- Two weeks: $125
- One month: $200
*All parking ticket and parking pass purchases are final. Refunds are not available.
* There are no 'in-and-out' privileges for daily parking and parent multi-use passes. Parent long-stay passes allow same-day 'in-and-out' privileges.
The Parking Office is located on Parking Level 1 (P1) and is open daily, including weekends and holidays, from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. All pay stations also have a customer-service call button available 24 hours a day.

Additional parking around SickKids
If you decide not to park at SickKids, there are many parking lots conveniently located around the hospital. Locations and rates are accurate as of Nov. 2012. Please check the lots for current rates.
If you take public transportation
The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) has parking lots, called Park and Ride, at these subway stations: Kipling, Islington, Keele, Kennedy, Warden, Victoria Park, Finch, York Mills, Wilson, and Yorkdale.

The Hospital's Protection Services department has a 24-hour phone line at 416-813-7122. You can call this number if you would like someone to walk with you to your car or the subway. There may be a short wait while this is arranged.
For your protection, leave items of value and large amounts of cash at home, or keep them with you at all times. The hospital is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items.
