Alan Brown Building
The Alan Brown Building was built in 1982 and named in memory of Dr. Alan Brown. This 118-unit apartment building is proudly owned and operated by The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). All proceeds support research here at SickKids.
At the Alan Brown Building, we provide temporary and affordable accommodation for new professional staff. Located across the street from the Hospital and in the centre of downtown Toronto, we’re steps away from:
- Restaurants and museums
- Schools and child care
- Shopping and grocery stores
- Public transportation including trains, buses and the subway
- Community centres and libraries
- The University of Toronto
Our guests at The Alan Brown Building will tell you that we’re not just a residence but also a community. Our visitors come from all around the country and across the world, and we all share a common connection here at SickKids.
We understand the unique needs of our community and would be pleased to assist you in any way.
