Healthy environments support healthy species that help keep us thriving and feeling our best! Find out how the health and well-being of honey bees and other pollinators impact our daily health and what you can do to help the bees, butterflies, beetles, birds and other animals that pollinate our world.
Vicki Wojcik, PhD, Research Director from Pollinator Partnership, will facilitate a talk about the importance of bee health today from noon to 1 p.m. in the PGCRL Auditorium.
Wojcik will also be speaking about monarch health and migration at some of our partner hospitals for Earth Week. Monarch migration from Canada to Mexico has seen a 90 per cent decline. Wojcik will give her first talk from noon to 1 p.m. at Mt. Sinai (600 University Avenue, 14th floor classroom). A supplementary talk will be given at UHN on Thursday April 27 (190 Elizabeth St. R Fraser Elliot building, 3rd floor, 3S-439).
