Take the mystery out of science at Doors Open Toronto

Ever wonder what SickKids researchers do? SickKids is joining the city-wide celebration Doors Open Toronto, welcoming the public inside the Peter Gilgan Centre for Research and Learning (PGCRL), the home of the SickKids Research Institute.

What can you see at the PGCRL?
Visitors are invited to learn about the latest science and research in the PGCRL by participating in hands-on science demonstrations during our Science Showcase.

All weekend long, there will be a variety of fun, family-friendly science activities for kids of all ages. Meet with SickKids scientists who will exhibit their innovative projects, offer demos and answer questions to take the mystery out of science.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to tour the 19th floor to take in the incredible view of the city and get a true feel for the unique architecture of the building, which is designed to encourage research collaboration. Tours to the 19th floor will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis on-site.

What is Doors Open Toronto?
