Marrow Failure and Myeledysplasia (Pre-leukemia) Program

The Marrow Failure and Myelodysplasia (Pre-leukemia) Program

The Marrow Failure and Myelodysplasia (Pre-leukemia) Program was established in 2001. It is one of several programs in the Division of Haematology/Oncology, and affiliated with the Cell Biology Program at the Research Institute, The Hospital for Sick Children.

The program mission is to provide state-of-the art care for patients with bone marrow failure and myelodysplasia syndromes  (MDS or pre-leukemia) and promote leading-edge research and education. Over the last several years major advances have been achieved in the field of marrow failure and myelodysplasia. We are pleased that some of these have been made within our program.

The Marrow Failure Myelodysplasia (Pre-leukemia) Program is renowned nationally and internationally and has been recognized as a centre of excellence by the International MDS Foundation since 2002 for its research and clinical activities.
